Richard joined the W. R. Berkley Corporation in September 2022 as Chief Underwriting Officer of Berkley North Pacific.
His experience spans more than 18 years in the industry with expertise in commercial lines underwriting and distribution. Prior to his tenure at Berkley North Pacific, Richard led a variety of commercial lines, personal lines and distribution organizations throughout the western United States. Richard is committed to driving meaningful relationships with our independent agents and broker partners while managing the successful growth and profitability of the portfolio.
Richard received both his Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Management Science from the University of Southampton, England and has obtained a number of insurance related designations.
